So, I'm pretty much failing at NaNoWriMo this year. Even worse than last year, I mean. My problem is that I just don't care about my plot or my characters or anything. That's why, instead, I'm going to attempt to get as many words as I can in various fanfics. I have so many ideas and WIPs that I think I might be able to do it. It just sucks that I'll be off to such a late start now.

I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS.

I finally--FINALLY--finished Shadow Magic. It was awesome, of course. I didn't love it quite as much as Havemercy, but I still really, really loved it. Caius, you crazy little thing you. And Alcibiades, you adorable grump. And Josette! ♥ I absolutely adored her (as well as the addition of a main female character, although a few more would've been nice). I actually preferred the Mamoru/Kouje storyline, though. Their subtext was so thick it was downright ridiculous.

This book had a few of the same problems as Havemercy, like the lack of an actual plot throughout most of the thing and the long narrations between dialogue (and, as previously mentioned, the lack of female charactes), but nothing too big. Well, I actually did have one major complaint: NEEDS MOAR AIRMEN. I'm hoping that'll be fixed in the third book, though. ;D (Seriously, if Balfour isn't in it, I think I might cry.)

Anyway, I'd be really depressed about finishing if I hadn't just gotten Good Omens, so instead I'm pretty excited about starting that. ^.^

So apparently this season it's Dean's turn to be a dick to Sam. >:( Last season it was the other way around, so I guess it's only natural. To be honest, I do prefer it this way. I was really missing adorable!Sammy.

All right, my Top Five Non-Canon Couples, given to me by messiah_noire, and with evidence to prove that they should be/actually are canon, as an added bonus. ;D
